When I was 29, I rebelled against all the people from my childhood who told me to not become a writer. Ever since that day I've clung to my plan of one day reaching a skill level adequate enough to write & publish books. I write mainly scifi and fantasy, with the main design philosophy of setting my stories in interesting worlds with a cool cast of characters. For me, a story is defined by its fun factor and entertainment value, and I don't give much priority to political messages or social criticism.

My favorite authors include Brandon Sanderson, Mark Lawrence, Will Wight, Patrick Rothfuss, and Hannu Rajaniemi.
