Xan van Rooyen in Scriptor in Fabula | Literary Interviews Project

Scriptor in Fabula is a series of video interviews realized by writer Tanya Tyniälä with the goal to gain further insight into the different writers living in Finland.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: We make use of the 'non- traditional questionnaire' ('cuestionario no tradicional') as introduced by the poet Mario Benedetti to make the interview more relaxed and enjoyable. The idea is to present the writer with an unusual question that they have to answer in a very creative way. Of course, there will also be a more traditional section to give information about the author (not part of the interview). Towards the end of the interview, some time will be dedicated to the author reading part of one of their texts in its original language.
